Fourth County Death from COVID-19
Latest Victim is New Case in Kingman Area
Brings Positive Cases to 83
MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 25, 2020) The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified late this morning of the fourth death of COVID-19 in Mohave County. The person was in the 65+ age range and was hospitalized at Kingman Regional Medical Center. This is a new case and is epidemiologically-linked to another case. This is Kingman’s first recorded COVID-19 death.
Mohave County Supervisor Jean Bishop said, “This terrible disease has now taken the lives of four in our county. Speaking for our board, I want to convey our deep sorrow to the family and friends of those affected. Let’s hope we can soon move on into a normality Mohave County residents can exist in and be free of this type of dire consequence. Our prayers to all.”
The county now has a total of 83 COVID-19 positive cases. Seven new cases were confirmed yesterday afternoon.
There are now 26 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including three deaths, 47 in Kingman, counting this latest death and 10 in Bullhead City
