“This is helping people from our entire area. We are on a fixed income and it gets hard some time. It is helping us make it through till the end of the month until we get our social security checks.” – Nancy

Make Bullhead Better has partnered with Food for Families and St. Mary’s Food Bank to bring over 20,000 pounds of fresh produce to our community. We never know what kind of food we are going to get, but there is always a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Often there are milk and meat items as well.

Special thanks to the City of Bullhead City for the use of their parking lot and the City Council Chambers to pack up all of the food in.

We have volunteers from these community organizations JustServe.org, Young Scholars Academy JNHS, BHC Morning Kiwanis Key Club, Praise Chapel’s Men’s Home, families and other community members.

“Having the opportunity to give back what’s been given to me is a blessing. I am inspired to help because I see other individuals and non-profits participating around me. I would love more people to volunteer because it feels amazing to help others.” – Robert (Praise Chapel Men’s Home) Volunteers as young as 7 to 8 years old can come help with their parents bag and distribute food.

Special thanks to Tri-State Community Healthcare for donating 500 reusable shopping bags which we use to bag up all the food. Want to VOLUNTEER?? Call Grace at 928-444-2896 for more info.
