Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested George Thaveesakda Shean, 50 of Golden Valley, for two counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Aggravated Assault on an Officer, two counts of Resisting Arrest, Criminal Damage, and 1st Degree Criminal Trespassing, all felonies. On Friday (2/22) at approximately 8:15 PM, deputies responded to a residence in the 2800 block of McConnico Rd. in reference to a criminal damage. The victim reported that a male subject, identified as Shean, had thrown a chair through the sliding glass door of her property. Deputies arrived on scene and observed the glass shattered and a chair lying on its side. The estimated cost of repairs for the door was listed at approximately $2,000. Deputies observed a fresh set of foot prints in the snow outside the door and followed them to a nearby residence, where the subject had gone inside a shed on the property. Deputies entered the shed and observed Shean asleep inside. Deputies announced their presence and advised Shean to exit the shed, and Shean replied with curse words and threats towards the deputies. When deputies attempted to remove Shean from the shed, he kicked one deputy in the head with his left leg. A struggle ensued and the deputy recalled Shean rapidly throwing punches at him. A second deputy entered the scuffle to attempt to restrain Shean and he was struck in the chest several times and Shean attempted to bite his arms. Shean continued to resist and threatened to kill the deputies. Shean was taken to the ground and tucked his arms underneath his body and continued to resist being detained. Deputies deployed their taser, and Shean became compliant and was placed in restraints. The deputy who was kicked in the head was transported to KRMC for a possible concussion, and the other deputy sustained no injuries. George Thaveesakda Shean was arrested and booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without further incident.
