Golden Valley Fire A -shift worked an early morning garage fire. Upon arrival, there was a lot of heavy black smoke, and the fire lacked the oxygen needed to become established. Fire crews did a good job locating the fire and extinguishing it without giving it the necessary oxygen to support fire growth. Please remember to keep all doors and windows closed when not at home; this may provide the extra minutes needed to save your home and belongings.
