On December 15, several new members of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Posse graduated the Basic Posse Academy. This academy was 40 hours long, and included instruction blocks on traffic control, first aid, CPR, Posse Patrol procedures, Vacation Watch procedures, Tax Liens, Sex Offender Notifications, along with prisoner transport procedures and private property crash investigations. These volunteers will assist all over Mohave County with various tasks, and play an instrumental role in the overall public safety of our communities.
