Over the Halloween holiday MCSO conducted an enforcement detail to ensure the safety of the public during the trick or treat hours in all of our patrol districts. During that time we conducted 48 traffic stops. 33 of the 48 drivers contacted were Designated Drivers, 3 were know your limit drivers (drivers who had consumed some alcohol but were not impaired due to them stopping because they know their limits). We made 1 aggravated dui arrest, 1 misdemeanor dui arrest. Issued 2 criminal speed citations, 22 civil speed citation, 7 citations for traffic laws other than speeding and had two arrests other than DUI.
