BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – July 1, 2024 – The Bullhead City Police Department is investigating a homicide. Don Earl Kelso, 30, was arrested for first degree murder per domestic violence after he stabbed his uncle.
     On Saturday, June 29 at about 8:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a weapons offense at a residence in the 1800 block of Ramar Road. The victim – Steven Patrick Anderson, 53 – was found in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times in his upper torso, abdomen and neck area. Bullhead City Fire paramedics rushed Steven Anderson to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center where he later died as a result of his injuries.
     The suspect – Kelso – fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. On June 30 at about 6 a.m., the Fort Mojave Tribal Police Department located Kelso walking in the area of King Street and Highway 95 in Mohave Valley. He was arrested on the Bullhead City Police Department’s temporary felony warrant and booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
