Homicide in Meadview Arizona

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have made two arrests in connection with a Missing Person investigation that began on November 12, 2020. On Sunday (11/22) a deceased male subject with an apparent gunshot wound to the head was located in a remote desert area near Greg’s Hideout outside of Meadview. The subject was identified as missing person, Jeffrey Earl Bushaw, 45 of Las Vegas, by the clothing and contents of the decedent’s wallet. Based on evidence located at the scene, the manner of death was determined to be a homicide. As a result of the homicide investigation, Christopher Albert Eash, 46, and Joshua Paul Stone, 34, both of Las Vegas, have been arrested for their involvement. Eash is charged with 1st Degree Murder (premeditated), Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Abandoning a Dead Body, all felonies. Stone is charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence and Abandoning a Dead Body, both felonies. The victim and Eash were mining partners, who lived at a temporary residence in the area. At this
time, the motive of the murder is unclear. This investigation is ongoing.



The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for Jeffrey Earl Bushaw, 45 years of age. Jeffrey is approximately 6’ 00, 230 pounds, black hair, and hazel eyes. Jeffrey was last known to be in the Meadview, AZ., area off of Gregs Hideout Rd., on or about November 12th, 2020. Detectives are attempting to locate Jeffrey to check his welfare.
