On May 17, 2023, at approximately 9:15 a.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to a residence in the 2500 block of McCulloch Boulevard North after reports of a shooting had occurred. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male inside the residence with injuries consistent with being shot. Life-saving measures were attempted, however, the male succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene to further investigate this incident. A person of interest in this case is being held for questioning, and this appears to be an isolated incident. This is an active investigation, and further details will be released as they become available. The identity of the deceased male is not being released at this time.
