KINGMAN – Jersey Mike’s Subs will open in Kingman on September 12 at 3535 Stockton Hill Road and will host a special “free sub” fundraiser that is geared to helping out local students at various Kingman Unified School District campuses. 

Franchise owners Steve and Syndie Wolsey will hold the grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, September 12 to Sunday, September 16. The restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

The new restaurant is circulating 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Kingman Unified School District. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

“We were initially attracted to Jersey Mike’s because of the friendly staff, and the subs are delicious,” said Steve Wolsey. “Our son races in motocross and we would have to travel out to Rancho Cucamonga a lot for his training.  It was in that town where we had our first Jersey Mike’s.  Once we bit into our sandwiches we were hooked. A year later, in Phoenix, we saw more Jersey Mike’s and knew we needed to open one in Kingman.”

Syndie Wolsey added, “For this grand opening, we have partnered up with Kingman Unified School District. We both attended schools in this district as have our children. We also have family members that currently work in the school district. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to give back to the schools in our area. These students are our future and we want them to have the best education available to them. If you haven’t donated in the past, now is the perfect time to do so. We look forward to seeing everyone at our opening!”
