This update on upcoming Kingman events is provided in part by Katie Barhtlow of the Kingman Office of Tourism.

April 18 – 21 – Spring Carnival – Free parking & admission! Beer garden, live bands, and more! Family friendly! Carnival rides! Located at Mohave County Fairgrounds, 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd. Thursday, April 18: 4pm – 10pm, Friday, April 19: 12pm – 10pm, Saturday, April 20: 10am – 10pm, Sunday, April 21: 10am – 4pm 

April 20 – Kingman Farmers Market at Thunder-Rode – We have been providing our community with fresh, local seasonal produce and supporting Kingman’s local artists and craftspeople through every season for several years. We also support our local bands who are known to entertain the market crowds. The Kingman Farmers Market, located in the Thunder-Rode Event Center, 102 E Beale St. The Kingman Farmers Market will take place every Saturday in the Thunder-Rode Event Center as long as weather is permitting. Spring, Fall, and Winter hours are 9am-1pm. Summer hours are 8am-Noon. 

April 20 – Hive Five Meadery Anniversary Celebration – Come out and join us in celebration as we welcome our one-year anniversary in business! – We will have vendors, food trucks and music! What started as a fun hobby homebrewing back in 2017, and has turned into so much more. We appreciate every single one of our customers, vendors, and staff that have aided in our success this year. We look forward to many more celebrations to come! 11am to 6pm. 6927 E Brooks Blvd. 

April 20 – Chillin’ on Beale – Bring your car down for a fun time. Classics, customs, creatives, motorcycles, EVs, you name it! Cruise on down to Beale Street for music, good food, and down-home Kingman atmosphere! Events begin at 3pm and ends at 6pm. April’s theme is Classic Car Kick-Off. Free and open to the public – vehicle spots open. Contact Gene Kirkham at 714.488.1843 for more information.

April 20 & 21 – Spring Home & Garden Expo – Kingman Community & surrounding areas – come out and join the fun, along with over 70 vendors from near and far. Bring the family and friends for some shopping at the Mohave County Spring Home & Garden Expo at the Mohave County Fairgrounds. 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd. 702.373.7694. Saturday, 10am – 6pm Sunday, 10am – 4pm

April 20, 27, May 4 – Kingman’s Market in the Park – Join us for Kingman’s Market in the Park! Located at Lewis Kingman Park, 2201 E Andy Devine Ave. Here you’ll find an array of products including baked goods, local produce, clothing, hand-made arts & crafts, and so much more! 8am to 12pm.

April 21 – Concert in the Park – Enjoy a FREE concert in the park! April’s featured band is The Rivals! Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on, snacks, picnic dinner and drinks of choice. Family friendly so bring all your family and friends! Located at Metcalfe Park, 315 W Beale St. Concert starts at 4pm. 

April 25 – 28 – Route 66 Bike Week – Join us once again, as we pay a two (and three) wheel tribute to the Mother Road! Route 66 Bike Week stretches from Needles, CA to Seligman, AZ, providing over 300 miles (round trip) of fun, adventure and nostalgia. Follow along in the footsteps of the filming locations from the iconic movie Easy Rider. Participate in our Route 66 Scavenger Hunt including many FREE RAFFLES and a CASH PRIZE. Head back to “Rally Central” (Saddle Sore Ranch) as often as you’d like for live music, contests, games, shenanigans, vendors, bike shows, rat rods, optional onsite camping, nightly campfire parties and more. Grab your free scavenger hunt sheet at the Saddle Sore Ranch anytime during the event. Completed sheets must be turned in by 5pm on Saturday. Wristband required at Saddle Sore Ranch after 6pm daily. 21 and up only, after 6pm, at the Saddle Sore Ranch. 

April 26 & 27 – 4th Annual Missing the Run Event – Live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, and more! Located at Mother Road Harley-Davidson, 2501 E Beverly Ave. 11am to 3pm.

April 26 – 28 – Thunder-Rode Bike Fest – 3 Full Days of Bikes, Beauties, and Bands.  Shop our 40+ Vendor Street Market.  See Miss Kylee and watch her crown the new Miss Thunder-Rode during the 2024 Miss Thunder-Rode Search. Get your ROCK ON with live music all 3 days.  Fill your stomach will the best food and drinks. FREE admittance for the entire weekend. Clean restroom, free ice/water, tent with misters, air-conditioned shop, games, bike contest, and motorcycle revelry! 102 E. Beale Street, Kingman, AZ – Across from Locomotive Park and behind Mr. D’z Famous Diner on Route 66 in Historic Downtown Kingman, AZ. Proceeds from alcohol sales benefit the American Legion Post, which supports veterans and other charities throughout Kingman and Mohave County all year long.

April 27 – Mohave Community Orchestra Spring Concert – Come listen to the Mohave Community Orchestra perform our Spring Concert! College Park Community Center 1990 Jagerson Ave. Suggested donation: $5 individual. $10 family

April 27 – Sundowner Saloon Family Event Family Day at The Sundowner Saloon! Saturday April 27th 12pm-6pm. Sundowner Saloon has teamed with local food trucks to bring local family and friends together for food and games. Food Vendors:

  • Buddy’s breakfast and burgers
  • Kev og’z
  • Sweet t cakes and desserts
  • Mobile munchees
  • Stubby red wagon
  • Chat n chew
  • El patron

April 28 – Grand Canyon West 36th Anniversary Celebration – Mohave County and Seligman residents receive complimentary admission into Grand Canyon West, complimentary admission into Skywalk, and receive special Anniversary offers. Please provide proof of residency! Driver’s license, utility bill, etc. with Mohave County or Seligman residence address. 9am to 4pm. Special Anniversary offers include:

  • Complimentary 36th Anniversary t-shirt
  • Discounted meals at GCW restaurants (excludes SkyView Restaurant)

May 4 – Meet the author – Author, humorist, and historian Jim HInckley, creator of the Jim HInckley’s America network, will be signing books, and answering questions about Route 66 travel planning, Hinckley is the author of more than 20 books including The Illustrated Route 66 Historic Atlas, Murder and Mayhem on The Main Street of America: Tales From Bloody 66, and Backroads of Arizona.Calico’s Restaurant. 418 W Beale St, Kingman, 3:30 to 5:00 PM

May 3 – 5 – 35th Annual Route 66 Fun Run – More than 800 vehicles carrying thousands of friends will be joining the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona on May 3, 4, 5 for a weekend of adventure! Historic Route 66 Fun Run participants from across the globe will meet in Seligman to travel a 140-mile stretch of Route 66 with events planned in nearly every community along the way. The procession will conclude in Topock/Golden Shores with an awesome award ceremony to cap off the weekend. Saturday is the big event in downtown Kingman, with over 800 classic cars on display on Route 66 & Beale St from 9am to 4pm. We extend a big THANK YOU to all of the downtown businesses in Kingman for hosting the Fun Run Show N Shine Car Show. Please patronize the businesses as you enjoy the event. May 4 & 5 – Gem & Mineral Show – Join us for a weekend of fun, family, and shopping! Educational displays & exhibits! Gemstones, minerals, fossils, rocks, jewelry, woodwork, clothing, and more! Also featuring kids’ activities, raffles, hourly door prize drawings, food vendors! May 4th & 5th, 2024 Saturday, 9am – 5pm Sunday, 9am – 4pm Located at Mohave County Fairgrounds, 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd. Free admission! Donations are appreciated.

May 4 & 5 – Cinco de Mayo Festival – Family friendly! 100 vendors! Beer garden! Food trucks! Free entry & free parking! Dancing, live music, DJ! Pony rides, bounce houses, face painting! Located at 3320 Stockton Hill Rd. Staples Shopping Center. Saturday, 11am to 9pm. Sunday, 10am to 6pm. Beer garden hosted by Mohave County First Responders Foundation.
