Kingman Farmers Market

Kingman AZ – We would like to take a minute to recognize the tremendous strides and efforts put forth by the amazing staff and vendors at Thunder-Rode and the Original (Real)  Kingman Farmers Market at Thunder-Rode. What a great job they are doing and what a great service is being provided to Kingman and the community by Thunder-Rode. You may already know that Thunder-Rode charges no fees to the city, the visitors or the vendors. As a result, the Kingman Farmers Market at Thunder-Rode has swelled to almost overflow capacity. The vendors at The Kingman Farmers Market at Thunder-Rode get to set up and sell their wares free of cost or charge as a benefit to them, the city and the great citizens of Kingman. A huge crowd swarmed over the Market, and vendors filled the Thunder-Rode Event Center to display their goods, in spite of the sweltering heat.
This past weekend (Saturday, Sept 5th) we featured one of Thunder-Rode’s good customers and YouTube guitarist Elmer (ET) Simeon – what an amazing artist and at noon, ET played the most beautiful rendition of our National Anthem, Jimi Hendrix style that I or the crowd had ever heard. I hope you were there to enjoy this talented guy.
Next week, Patriot Day weekend, Saturday, Sept 12th, (weather will be nice and cool) we will offer to the public another great market and will feature a 10/10 bike wash ($10 for a 10 minute wash) with all proceeds going to the Kingman Food Bank. If you can, stop by and get your bike washed or bring some canned goods for our donation box, I know the Food Bank will appreciate your generosity. Our beautiful bike wash ladies do a great job!
