KINGMAN, Ariz. – On Monday, August 17, 2026, the Kingman Police Department arrested 37-year-old Dylan Prescott Swint of Kingman following an incident involving shots fired at two occupied residences. Swint was taken into custody on five felony counts of Discharging a Firearm at an Occupied Structure and five felony counts of Disorderly Conduct with a Firearm.

At approximately 8:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 3700 block of Miller Street after receiving multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting shots fired at the location. Officers learned that around seven shots had been fired and that the suspect had fled the scene in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle. While investigators were looking into the Miller Street incident, additional shots were reported nearby.

Responding to the 3700 block of North Kenneth Road, officers located a vehicle matching the description provided by witnesses. Investigators later determined that Swint had also fired multiple shots at a residence along Kenneth Road, and ten spent shell casings were recovered from the roadway. Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop, and Swint, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken into custody without further incident. A handgun was recovered from inside the vehicle.

During the investigation, detectives discovered that the incidents in Kingman may have stemmed from a disturbance that occurred earlier in the evening in the 4500 block of Hualapai Mountain Road. That matter is currently under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Swint has been booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on the aforementioned charges. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as new information becomes available.
