**Kingman Police Responds to School Threat **

Today, January 25th, the Kingman Police Department responded to Lee Williams High School, 400 block of Grandview Ave. in reference to a threat on social media. Burlington Northern Santa Fe Police Officers assisted the Kingman Police Department in searching the campus and assuring safety of students, faculty, and staff. The students, faculty and staff were moved to a warm part of the school that was determined to be safe of any threats. As all threats are taken seriously, officers searched the campus. Investigators did not locate anything to confirm the threat. The campus was determined to be safe for students, faculty and staff. The investigation remains on-going with the assistance of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Parents and guardians were notified by Kingman Unified School District #20. All students are safe with no injuries.
