Kingman Young Marines Take Aim at Pearl Harbor Day

The Kingman Young Marines are raising funds for Operation Pearl Harbor. One of the ways that the local unit is raising funds is by the sale of raffle tickets for a 22 Cal Rifle and a 12 Gauge shotgun. The guns were donated by two local guns shops, Joe’s Bang Barn and The Gun Shop. With the temporary loss of the local gun shows, the sale of raffle tickets for these guns has dropped considerably. Tickets can be obtained by going to the Kingman Young Marines Face Book page or contacting the Kingman Marine Corps League at 928-897-0953. Tickets can also be obtained from our two sponsoring gun shops. Tickets are $1ea or 6 for $5.

A total of four Young Marines and three adult Volunteers will be traveling to Hawaii for the ceremonies and events that will be held during the week of December 7 th as part of National Pearl Harbor Day of Remembrance. The Kingman Young Marines will join some of the other Young Marine Units from
around the nation who will also be attending in order to participate in this 80th Anniversary Ceremony.
