**KPD Officer, Rookie, Civilian and Volunteer of the Year selected**

As part of the National Police Week celebration the Kingman Police Department selected
the Officer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Civilian of the Year and the Volunteer of the
Year. KPD team members are nominated by their peers for conduct and performance
during the previous year.
This year’s recipients are…

Officer of the Year: Officer Joseph Weber
Officer Weber has been with KPD for 20 years. He
was assigned to Patrol during his career and retired
in April 2023.

Rookie of the Year: Officer Robert Trujillo
Officer Trujillo joined KPD in July 2021. He is
recognized by his fellow officers as being a model
officer.

Civilian of the Year: Krista Kufen
Krista joined the KPD team in February 2022. She
is assigned as the Professional Standards
Administrative Assistant handling background
investigations for new hires in the department and
works with various members of the department on
hiring and recruitment.

Volunteer of the Year: Joeine Kreikel
Jo has been volunteering with KPD since August
2019. Jo puts in countless hours in support of the
KPD mission.
