Kingman, Arizona, September 17, 2019 – Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) is pleased to welcome Abhinav Ohri, M.D. to our medical staff.

As a neurologist, Dr. Ohri specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the nervous system. This includes disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerves, such as:

·         Headaches

·         Seizure

·         Stroke

·         Parkinson’s disease

·         Numbness and tingling

·         Muscle pain and weakness

·         Low back pain

Dr. Ohri is skilled in the interpretation of EEG (electroencephalogram) tests – which monitor electrical activity in the brain. He is also trained to administer Botox therapy and occipital nerve blocks for migraines and headaches.

“My role is to provide patients with the most accurate information I can about their condition,” said Dr. Ohri. From that point, he says, he works with patients to first explore any non-medical options for treatment, such as lifestyle and behavioral changes.

Dr. Ohri attended Kasturba Medical College of Manipal University in Manipal, Karnataka, India. He then completed a brief residency Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville before a residency in Neurology at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Dr. Ohri has also completed fellowship training in both sleep medicine and clinical neurophysiology with a focus on epilepsy.
