LHCPD Releases July 4th Holiday Weekend Statistics

Lake Havasu City, Arizona — The Lake Havasu City Police Department has released its July 4th holiday weekend statistics for the period covering Friday, July 4th through Sunday, July 6th, 2025. During this time, the department received a total of 796 calls for service and made 51 arrests. Of these, 41 individuals were booked into the LHCPD jail, eight were cited and released, and two juveniles were referred and released. Six of the arrests were for felony offenses.

Emphasizing traffic safety during the holiday weekend, the LHCPD provided enhanced traffic enforcement along with specialized DUI patrols. Officers arrested 10 DUI offenders, including one felony DUI offense. In addition, civil traffic stops resulted in 234 drivers being contacted.
