Lake Havasu City is excited to announce the launch of its brand new City website at www.lhcaz.gov. The new website makes it easier to find services and topics by department or category, right from the home page. New buttons highlight areas that visitors search for most – services, City Council and board meeting videos and agendas, forms, maps, news email alerts, employment opportunities and a place to provide feedback. The new City website has a responsive design to change size to fit any mobile device – ipad, tablet, or phone.
“The website is almost always the first impression many visitors have of a community, and is one of the most powerful tools for cities and towns to keep residents engaged in local government,” said City Manager Jess Knudson. “Because we used existing talent and technology, the new website was created at minimal cost to the City. Moreover, the ongoing maintenance costs are reduced. I am very pleased with the efforts of staff and thrilled our citizens will benefit from an improved website that is easier to navigate.”
Visitors to the site are encouraged to click on the “Leave Feedback” link on the homepage. As always, the City invites the public to stay connected and subscribe to city news, events, and meeting dates.
The City’s Web Services/Media Coordinator, Steve Blake, led the effort to redesign the website. The website is a result of many months of hard work and the involvement of every City department.
