Law enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

Join your local Law Enforcement agencies on Saturday April 12 from 8AM to 12PM at Centennial Park in Kingman for a day of fun, games, prizes, and exercise! The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, The GEO Group at Arizona State Prison- Kingman, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and Kingman Police Department are joining forces to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Arizona. There will be a 1K walk and 5K run (must register to participate), raffle prizes (donated by The GEO Group-Kingman and local businesses), food, games, K9 demonstrations, and lots of opportunities to mingle with your local law enforcement!

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a series of intra-state/intra-nation runs that take place in the spring and summer in the United States and around the world. Throughout the course of the Torch Run, participants collect contributions from individuals and businesses, asking to help raise support for incredible Special Olympics athletes. The Torch Run is much more than just a run; it is a year-round campaign to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Arizona. 100% of all money raised for the Law Enforcement Torch Run goes directly to support Special Olympics athletes in Arizona and their supporting programs. Where: This event will run from 8AM to 12Pm on Saturday at Centennial Park in Kingman. Our event will be at the large parking lot on Burbank St. Mohave County Department of Public Health will also be hosting their Day in the Park event  at the same time in other areas of Centennial Park.
