Bullhead City, Ariz. (March 18, 2022)  ̶  The public is invited to enjoy the display of vintage and contemporary aircraft joined on the Airport apron for the first time by cherished and classic automobiles during Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport’s Wings and Wheels Open House. “Wings and Wheels is our largest-ever open house celebration,” said LBIA Director Jeremy Keating. “It’s an opportunity for the public to see all sorts of aircraft parked in one place alongside some really neat cars from area clubs. It promises to be a fun day for everyone who visits.”

The event is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 2, and located on the airport apron at Signature Flight Support, 2550 South Laughlin View Drive. Parking and admission to the event are free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. More than 30 planes, including a mix of legendary WWII aircraft are provided by private pilots and aircraft owners for display at the open house. Pilots and crew for many of the exhibits will be available to answer questions.

Adding the wheels to the Wings and Wheels theme are vehicle displays provided by Airport Fire Department, Bullhead City Police Department, Bullhead City Fire Department, along with more than 50 cherished and classic vehicles provided by area clubs. Exhibits include remote control aircraft, Apex Aviation, Arizona Aircraft Services, Arizona Pilots Association, Cactus Aviation Flight School, Mohave County Sheriff’s Department K9 Foundation and the U.S. Army.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing the airport and all our wonderful exhibitors,” Keating said. “We want to make this year’s open house a special experience for everyone, including children who may be inspired to a career in aviation as a pilot, airport manager, crew member or mechanic.”

For additional information about the open house, visit or contact the Airport Administrative Office at or 928-754-2134.
