LHCPD Welcomes Border Patrol Horse Patrol Units

The Lake Havasu City Police Department would like to welcome the U. S. Border Patrol’s Horse Patrol Unit from the El Centro Sector to the London Bridge Day’s Parade this Saturday, October 29, 2022.

The Border Patrol’s Horse Patrol Unit is led by Chief Greg Bovino, and the unit will be in attendance with approximately 10 horses to participate in the parade festivities.

The London Bridge Days Parade will commence at 10:00 a.m. and will take place on McCulloch Blvd North from Acoma Boulevard and will end at Capri Boulevard. All side streets in between these two points will be blocked off to traffic, and Mesquite Avenue and Swanson Avenue will be open. Motorists should seek alternate routes when going downtown to avoid congestion.
