BULLHEAD CITY—Hosted by Desert Star Middle School, local students from around the community will display their works of art tonight at Mohave Community College in Bullhead City.

This is the first annual Tri-State Middle School Art Show and will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. inside room 210 at the Bullhead City campus. The idea was created by art enthusiast and Desert Star Academy founder/principal, Margie Montgomery. The show will be under the direction of Sonja Boroughf, art teacher at Desert Star and Holly Hamilton, art teacher at Desert Valley and support from the River Valley Artist Guild.

Other local schools participating are Desert Star, Desert Valley, Fox Creek Elementary, Needles Jr. High, Sunrise Elementary, and Mohave Accelerated Learning Academy Jr. High. “The show promises to be an illuminating evening for all who attend,” said Montgomery.
