Kingman, Arizona – Diana Caldon, Local wine bar owner of Diana’s Cellar Door, has announced the sale of her popular location on Beale Street in Kingman. “I’ve loved the years of operating this gem, I love all of my regulars and love all the people I’ve been fortunate to meet over the years. I’m focusing on my health now and am excited to see the growth that Jeremy will bring to the newly named “Cellar Door.”
Diana decided the best hands to care and grow the wine bar going forward is local bar owner and musician Jeremy Fass and his wife Crystal. Jeremy owns Jeremy’s Juke Joint in Lake Havasu City and has big plans for Cellar Door in Kingman. “We’re going to keep all the current local favorites and simply add to it. We’ll be adding additional tap lines and beer selection including new wines that you can’t get anywhere else.” said Jeremy. “It’s such an honor to be able to take the torch that Diana has carried over the years and keep it burning for another generation. This is where I first started playing music as a musician years ago, so this is truly a great part of my journey and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
The newly named Cellar Door will be transitioning over the coming weeks but will maintain the same hours of operations with plans to extend those later in the year. Jeremy also has plans to start offering small bite sized appetizers and finger foods to give patrons something to snack on while trying new beers and wines that they’ll be serving. “I’m happy Diana is passing down her famous Sangria receipe, that’s a summer favorite for sure.” Jeremy happily remarked.
“Don’t think you won’t see me anymore, I’ve got a clause in the contract for celebrity bar tending” she laughingly said, “I’ll be down to pop in and say hello as much as I can. I love Kingman and it will always be part of my life”, Diana disclaimed at the end of our interview.
