Look what’s happening in Kingman! The event calendar is full. Tour companies are making plans and Kingman is a destination. Route 66 enthusiasts are making road trip plans, and that includes a stop in Kingman. Come join the fun.

February 9 – Get Hitched on 66 – Come celebrate with the Office of Tourism as we unveil Kingman’s newest roadside gem – the Heart of Route 66 neon sign. In addition to the lighting ceremony, three lucky couples will get hitched Vegas-style, officiated by none other than a Las Vegas Elvis-inspired master of ceremonies! Enjoy a Valentine’s-themed car show, pizza from Charlie’s Rustic Pizza, and cupcakes provided by Victoria’s Sugar Shack. Dance the night away after the marriage ceremonies. Event will be on Route 66 between 1st St & 2nd St from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Park in the Kingman Visitor Center parking lot. February 9 – Cupid Family Bingo Night – We would love to have your family and friends join the City Parks Dept for a fun evening of dinner and bingo! Dinner will be potato & ground beef tacos, refried beans, and Mexican rice with dessert and a drink. Bingo will consist of prizes for every winner and the evening will be relaxing and fun! February 10 – Valentine’s Date Night at Sportsman’s Club – Valentine’s Date Night Party! Desert Sky Entertainment will be playing live starting at 7pm. Drink specials for couples and singles! February 11 – For fans of Route 66, Cool Springs on the east slope of Sitgreaves Pass in the Black Mountains of Arizona is an icon. Its picturesque setting and time capsule feel has made the desert oasis a destination for a new generation of travelers. But did you know that there is direct connection to Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner in KIngman? Did you know that Cool Springs predates Route 66? On today’s program its a road trip inspiring, trvia filled visit with Ned Leuchtner, owner of Cool Springs.

February 25 – Nestled in an historic school along Route 66 in Illinois, the Pink Elephant Antique Mall is a delightful blending of grandmother’s attic, vintage candy store, colorful roadside diner and quirky attraction with unlimited opportunity for one of a kind selfies.
