BULLHEAD CITY –- Four people were arrested Tuesday by the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team after a search warrant executed in the 2400 block of McCormick Boulevard led to the discovery of about $360,000 in methamphetamine and heroin.
Rey Dave Garcia, 32, is facing multiple felony charges which include possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, transportation of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Garcia’s girlfriend, Sarah Blanco, 22, also faces multiple felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, transportation of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both are being held on a bond of $150,000 each.
Bullhead City Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the seizure included 10 pounds of methamphetamine and two pounds of meth. The street value of the methamphetamine is about $226,000 and the heroin is over $135,000 dollars.
Fromelt said prior to the execution of the search warrant, Blanco and Garcia arrived at their residence in a red vehicle. Inside the vehicle, police reportedly found a large amount of heroin. In Blanco’s purse, police reportedly found about a half ounce of methamphetamine. In a backpack belonging to Garcia, police reportedly found more heroin and the ten pounds of meth.
In addition, Jacob Earl Beane, 39, and his girlfriend, Micka Fern Kutschat, 25, were arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. The items were reportedly found in Beane’s bedroom.
They were all taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.
