Main Tanks Transmission Main Waterline Project

KINGMAN, Ariz. – Beginning today, June 14 through Friday, June 18, 2021, Fairfax Street from Airway Avenue through Sycamore Ave. will be closed. The KRMC Joan & Diana Hospice Home on the corner of Fairfax St. and Airway Ave. will be accessible from the entrance on Fairfax St. from Airway Ave.; Detours will be in place from West Airway to Sycamore Ave. using Mulberry St. (map attached)

The project to install a new water transmission main between Stockton Hill Road to the Main Tanks on Anson Smith Road began January 4, 2021. The contractor, Freiday Construction, is working with residents and business in the area regarding notification, but no water service delays, or disruptions are scheduled to take place.

This project is the continuation of a multi-phased project to improve water delivery to city water storage tanks that will allow our infrastructure run more efficiently, resulting in an overall benefit to our customers. The total cost for the project is $1.99 million.
