KINGMAN–A 64-year-old man died Tuesday after his all-terrain-vehicle flipped and pinned him underneath.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office reports their agency, along with Kingman Fire, responded to the area of Devil’s Dip around 6 p.m. Tuesday for an accident report.

Sheriff spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said two hunters were reportedly scouting the area and came across an ATV that had rolled and was still running.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was discovered pinned underneath the ATV and was unresponsive, said Mortensen.

Due to the remote access to the accident location, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue and the Kingman Department of Public Safety Ranger helicopter were activated to perform the technical recovery. The victim was taken by helicopter to the members of SAR where he was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Lake Havasu City.
