Man Threatens With Knife, Lands In Jail

GOLDEN VALLEY–A local man faces charges of disorderly conduct with a weapon after he reportedly threatened a victim outside a Golden Valley convenience store.

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said deputies arrested Marlon Ferrer-Collado, 42, of Golden Valley early Tuesday morning.

Deputies contacted the victim, who reported that a man, later identified as Ferrer-Collado, was observed looking into the back of the victim’s truck at a convenience store on Highway 68. When the victim reportedly confronted him, Ferrer-Collado allegedly pulled a knife out and threatened to stab the victim.

Mortensen said the victim ran back into the store and called 911. No injuries were reported.

Ferrer-Collado was arrested and taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.
