Marines “Adopt” Veterans Memorial Park in Kingman

The Adopt-A-Park program initiated by the City of Kingman Parks and Recreation Department has had another group volunteer for the program. The Kingman Young Marines and the Marine Corps League #887 have volunteered to adopt Veterans Memorial Park, and will start their cleanup August 20, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.

Kingman Mayor Jen Miles said, “I am so grateful that this new program is having such a wonderful start in our community. It shows how dedicated people in Kingman are to our city and keeping our parks in great shape for everyone to enjoy. I especially am proud to see our young citizens and veterans joining together to care for our Veterans Memorial Park”
