Would you buy this new ketchup-mayo condiment if it was released nationwide?
On Thursday, Heinz released the news their newest condiment, Mayochup–also known to us as Fry Sauce, Fancy Sauce and other variations of “sauce”, could hit grocery store shelves just in time for summer grilling season.
However, there is one catch…Heinz will only bring the perfect-ratio condiment to the United States if votes on their Twitter poll hits 500,000 in favor of the the new flavor.
Nicole Kulwicki, Director of Marketing for Heinz said in a statement, “Heinz Mayochup will not be launched in the U.S. unless we get 500K votes. We look to America’s condiment lovers to tell us if this is something they want or if they prefer to remain Heinz Mayonnaise and Ketchup purists.”
To be one of those votes in favor of bringing the Mayochup stateside, VOTE HERE!
Until then, Americans will just have to make their own blend with Heinz Ketchup and the newly launched Real Mayonnaise, made with 100% cage free eggs, that has already rolled out to stores.
