MCAA accepts immediate resignation of Board President Jim Zaborsky

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ — Mohave County Airport Authority accepted Tuesday the immediate resignation of MCAA Board President Jim Zaborsky.

“We sincerely thank Jim for his more than 20-years of service to the Airport Authority and wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Steve Willett, MCAA Interim Board President.

Zaborsky was elected president of the board in 2018 after the death of Director John Hastings.

First elected to the Board of Directors in 1998, Zaborsky was subsequently reelected to the office of vice president on many occasions, most recently from 2011 to 2018.

Directors are elected by the MCAA General Membership for three-year terms, with several directors’ terms expiring each April. Board officers (president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary) are elected by the MCAA Board of Directors for one-year terms at the Annual Membership Meeting in April.

MCAA directors and officers receive no pay for serving on the board.
