** Serious Injury Crash – Vehicle vs Pedestrian **

On Monday, April 22nd, at about 2:30pm, Kingman Police responded to a Vehicle vs Pedestrian crash in the 3800blk of E. Andy Devine Ave. (Hwy 66 near Castle Rock Rd)  Officers arrived to find that a male pedestrian had been struck by a white utility van that was westbound on Andy Devine Ave.  The investigation determined that the pedestrian ran out into the path of the oncoming van that was being driven by a Ft. Mohave man.  The pedestrian, whose identity has not been determined, was seriously injured and transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center.  He was later flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas with serious injuries.  The driver of the van will not be charged.  The roadway was closed for about :30 minutes, during which time westbound traffic was detoured around the crash scene.

** Theft and Credit Card Theft **

On Monday, April 22nd, at a10:15am, Kingman Police arrested Kenneth Wade Martin, 45 of Kingman area, on felony charges of Theft of Credit Card x2, and misdemeanor Theft.   Martin was the suspect in the theft of a wallet from an employee breakroom the previous day.  It is believed that Martin took the wallet from an employee’s locker inside a business in the 3200blk of Stockton Hill Rd. sometime on Sunday.  Officers located Martin at a motel in the 200blk of W. Beale St., where he was ultimately taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
