Crews responded and restored power to the 108 members by 3:51 p.m. At 1:06 p.m., a metal awning blew into, and tore down, the primary conductor near White Sands Dr and Riviera Blvd. A protection device locked open, as it is designed, until crews could respond, clear the debris, make repairs, and restore power to the 143 affected members MEC would like to remind all residents to secure their awnings, lawn furniture, patio umbrellas and other items which could become projectiles in the sometimes dangerously high winds of Bullhead City.
