Missing Man

The Bullhead City Police Department, along with multiple other agencies* are continuing to search for a man who went missing Thursday evening after being thrown off a boat into the Colorado River.

At approximately 5:40 p.m. on April 8th, it was reported that two men were ejected from a boat near the Camino Del Rio area and the boat was spinning out of control. One of the men made it to the shoreline. The other man, 62-year-old James Edward McCloskey of Bullhead City, has not yet been found. He was last seen wearing a red flannel shirt and blue jeans.

*Assisting agencies include: Bullhead City Fire Department, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Laughlin Substation, Department of Public Safety Ranger helicopter, Mohave County Search and Rescue, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Waterways Unit, Nevada Department of Wildlife, Classic Air helicopter and Mohave Valley Fire Department.
