MISSING PERSON UPDATE: SILVER ALERT
3/9/21 at 10:15am David Proa is still missing. A Silver Alert has been issued. Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue and Guardian Air assisted in the search for David Proa last night until 1 am. The search was suspended until day light hours which began again at 8 a.m. this morning.
The Kingman Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance to locate a missing and and endangered male. David Proa, 61 of Kingman, left his residence on foot yesterday at approximately 5 pm from the 3000 Blk of Mallory Loop. David is described as a light skin Hispanic man 5’2″, 145 lbs. with black hair, brown eyes wearing a safety orange shirt, grey cut-off sweats, black shoes white soles no shoe laces carrying brown grey teddy bear. It is unknown what direction David was traveling.
We are asking the public to check your surrounding areas around your homes and businesses. If you have at home/business cameras in place, please review the footage and contact law enforcement if you believe that David is seen. He will likely have his teddy bear with him.
If anyone has information of David Proa whereabouts or has seen him is urged to contact the Kingman Police Department at 928-753-2191. David has been without his medication and may be in an agitated state. Please do not approach and call our office immediately.
