On Saturday, October 19, 2019, at approximately 9:38 AM, our crews were dispatched to the report of a structure fire on the 800 block of Sea Spray Dr. Engine 711s crew arrived first on the scene reporting a single wide mobile home about thirty percent involved with active fire. Quickly performing a complete search around the structure confirming that no one was inside of the home, firefighters began attacking the blaze utilizing the deck gun and pre-connected hose line. Additional crews arrived on the scene, providing assistance with the knockdown and overhaul process. Battalion Chief Flummer requested fire investigators to respond for a fire investigation. The fire appeared to have started to the rear of the home, unfortunately the structure is uninhabitable at this time. There were no injuries reported during the incident, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.

The Bullhead Fire Department would like to remind all residents to check their smoke alarms monthly and replace smoke alarm batteries twice yearly. For additional information regarding smoke alarms, please contact our Community Risk Reduction Division at 928-758-3971.
