Kingman, Ariz. (August 11, 2026) — Mohave College and Pipeline Connects, Arizona’s statewide career navigation infrastructure, today announced a new partnership connecting students across western Arizona to local career planning resources, training programs, and employment opportunities.

Before the Fall 2026 semester, students at Mohave College’s campuses in Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Kingman, and Colorado City will be able to access a customized Pipeline College platform as part of their onboarding and career readiness efforts. The platform enables students to map their interests, skills, and passions to the career paths and credentials driving Mohave County’s economic growth.

The initiative comes as Mohave County is projected to add nearly 7,000 new jobs over the next 10 years, with high-demand sectors including healthcare, construction, and mining leading regional growth. In fact, nurse practitioner roles are projected to grow 10.6% in just two years, while opportunities for mobile heavy equipment mechanics are expected to increase by 6% annually. Meanwhile, approximately 450 local high school students have already identified Mohave College as their next step through the Bridge tool on the My Future AZ career exploration platform.

“When education, industry, and career planning infrastructure align in a single region, the entire workforce system becomes stronger,” said Katherine Adams, Executive Vice President of Pipeline Connects. “This partnership with Mohave College creates that alignment in western Arizona, giving students a direct connection to the careers driving the local economy and giving employers confidence that the talent pipeline they need is already being built.”

Through the customized Pipeline College platform, students will complete an interest and skills assessment that connects their passions to tangible career opportunities in the local economy. From there, they can explore in-demand training programs, certifications, credentials, and job openings. The platform also provides educators with greater visibility into student career goals, allowing advisors and instructors to better guide students toward the certifications and skills most sought after by local employers.

“Mohave County is one of the most exciting regions in Arizona right now, with growth in healthcare, manufacturing, and beyond creating real opportunity for our students and our community,” said Natalie Gebicke, Director of Career and Transfer Services at Mohave College. “Partnering with Pipeline Connects ensures our students can see those opportunities clearly, connect their education to local career pathways, and graduate prepared to step into roles that fuel our region’s continued growth.”

Amy West, Superintendent of Western Arizona Vocational Education, added, “The students sitting in K-12 classrooms across Mohave County today are the workforce that will power this region’s growth tomorrow. Connecting them to real career opportunities in skilled trades and high-demand industries early gives them a vision for their future and a clear path to get there.”

Students, educators, and employers throughout western Arizona can access the platform through Mohave College beginning in July 2026, with the first student cohort launching in Fall 2026. To access the Mohave College Pipeline Connects platform, visit www.mohave.pipeline.com.
