3rd Annual Candy Crawl
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Public Outreach Program (MCSO POP) is excited to be hosting our 3rd Annual Candy Crawl on Saturday, October 31 from 5-7 PM. The event will be held at the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office located at 600 W Beale St., Kingman, AZ. We are also hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest in conjunction with the Candy Crawl. All entries must be dropped off Thursday, October 29th between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the MCSO Office. The entries will be judged on Friday and ALL entries will be displayed at the Candy Crawl on Saturday.
The Candy Crawl was created by the MCSO POP team to give children and parents a safe space to enjoy Halloween and let our community interact with our local First Responders on a fun level while humanizing the badge. The MCSO POP team was designed to educate the youth about proper use of 911, personal safety and safety while on the internet. Our instructors have gone into the schools and held Personal Safety Assemblies to grades K-5 and are looking at expanding into other levels and topics as soon as they can. We are looking forward to getting back into the schools and educating our youth!
Come down and join us at The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office on Halloween night from 5-7 and don’t forget to bring in your carved pumpkins on Thursday, October 29th to be entered into our Pumpkin Carving Contest! Winners will be announced at the Candy Crawl.
We’d also like to give a huge thank you to the K-9 Foundation for their efforts in gathering donations for this event along with all of our other sponsors: Dot Foods, Golden Valley Dollar General Employees, Bill Burrows, Frozen Yogurt Island, WalMart, Don Heck, Harry Traxler and our community for all of your donations! This wouldn’t be possible without all of your support.
Please enter the Mohave County Administration parking lot off Historic Rt 66 for parking and walk up Metcalfe Rd to enter the Candy Crawl. We will have our event set up for one-way traffic for proper socially distancing.
