FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is asking for the public’s assistance in an open homicide investigation involving Jean Andrae Brady, whose body was found in Standard Wash on June 25, 1995, in Lake Havasu City. Brady (DOB June 2, 1947) was initially identified as a Jane Doe victim; later investigation revealed her identity, and her cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite interviews conducted during the investigation—including with Brady’s ex-husband—no suspect has been identified. Detectives also executed a search warrant on a storage unit rented by Brady at the time of her death and recovered multiple boxes of personal property. However, those items were later determined not to be pertinent to the homicide investigation. Investigators are now seeking any extended family members who can claim her personal belongings.

Brady did not appear to have siblings or children, and her ex-husband passed away in 1996. Her parents were Robert Curtis Patterson of Chicago, Illinois (DOB 8-9-1913, DOD 5-5-1969) and Doris Jean Massman of Missouri (DOB 7-29-14, DOD 4-18-1979). It is believed that some of Brady’s relatives may reside in Missouri and/or Kansas.

Anyone who knew Brady, her associates in Lake Havasu City in 1995, or who has any information about who may have had cause to harm her—or who may be part of her extended family—is asked to contact the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit at (928) 753-0753 ext. 4408.
