Mohave County Treasurer Resigns Board Will Appoint Replacement on December 20

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (November 17, 2021) – The Mohave County Board of Supervisors has unanimously accepted the resignation of County Treasurer, Cindy Landa Cox. In a letter to the board, she resigned due to health reasons and will officially leave office on December 31, 2021.

In a special Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday morning, November 17, 2021 supervisors also established a deadline of 12 noon on December 10 for interested candidates to submit a resume and letter of interest to County Clerk Ginny Anderson at AnderG@mohave.gov (928-753-0731 Ext. 4462) Each supervisor will then select one applicant and up to five applicants may be interviewed by the supervisors on December 20th for the final selection.

The new appointee will serve as treasurer until the general election is held on November 8, 2022.  (The primary will take place on August 2, 2022.)
