MOHAVE VALLEY – A search warrant at a Mohave Valley home Wednesday led to the seizure of weapons and marijuana manufacturing equipment.
Mark MacAlpine, 54, is facing charges of possession of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misconduct involving weapons.
Bullhead City Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said it was a joint-task force of law enforcement from the Arizona Department of Public Safety Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission (GIITEM) and assistance from the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) that executed a narcotic search warrant last week at his home in the 7800 block of Green Valley Drive in Mohave Valley.
A secondary search warrant was executed on Dec. 5 at MacAlpine’s home where law enforcement reportedly uncovered the weapons and equipment allegedly used to produce marijuana wax, a narcotic drug, for the purpose of sales, said Fromelt.
MacAlpine will face additional charges of misconduct involving weapons and narcotic sales, she added.
He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman and remains on a $5,000 bond.
