The Bullhead City Police Department is inviting the public to join us and celebrate National Hot Dog Day at the Bullhead City Wienerschnitzel on July 20th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Unique and fun opportunities like this allow us to build community relationships, bringing police officers and residents together in a relaxed environment.
The Bullhead City Police Department believes it is important to have positive interactions with the public that we serve. These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships and we hope to make lasting connections.
Wienerschnitzel, 2840 Highway 95, is offering a 4 chili dogs for $4 deal to celebrate the day.
The Bullhead City Police Department recently held a “Coffee with a Cop” event at TASA Espresso & Smoothie bar and we celebrated National Donut Day (our favorite day of the year) at the two Bullhead City donut shops.
The majority of contacts law enforcement has with the public happen during emergencies, or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the most effective times for relationship building with the community, and some community members may feel that officers are unapproachable on the street. An event like this breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction. It is our hope that these types of events will allow the public to feel more comfortable to ask questions, bring up their concerns or just simply get to know us.
