In honor of National Police Officer’s Week, The Bee will be profiling an officer and/or deputy each day this week from local law enforcement agencies. Our Tuesday profile is of Sergeant Brian Zach from the Kingman Police Department.

Sgt. Zach, a Kingman native, has been with the Kingman Police Department for 12 years and during the course of his career he has been in patrol and the investigations bureau. Zach oversees a Patrol Squad, Canine Unit, Field Training Program, Drug Asset Recovery Team (DART) and is the liaison for LEO Military Program. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and will graduate next year with a dual Master’s degree in Business Administration and Science of Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Sgt. Zach is also the President for the Kingman Police Officer’s Association (KPOA). Zach contributes to the community while off-duty by volunteering at Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC), coaching the youth through various sports offered by the City of Kingman Parks and Recreation, as well as coaching sports for the Kingman Academy of Learning (KAOL).
