It is with a sad heart that we must share this information of the passing of our fellow brother-in-arms; fellow guardian of the people Timothy David Wright. Tim passed suddenly on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Tim had served with honor and dignity with Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Hualapai Nation Police Department for 4 1/2 years and more recently, the LaPaz County Sheriff’s Office. He was known throughout the Law Enforcement family as a man of great character and prideful of the areas he worked.

Deputy Wright was also a fallen warrior; serving 22 years in the United States Army. SFC Wright served honorably in the infantry and as a Tanker, serving in both Africa and Iraq during the conflicts. He was a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), our military’s highest joint service decoration and the highest non-combat award, for his final duty station as a U.S. Army Recruiter.

Deputy Wright leaves behind a wife, two teenager boys, 5 dogs and a cat (animals in-which he saved through local shelters) who will carry his legacy. He will be missed, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. 🖤💙🖤💙

We will provide funeral information once it is finalized.
