Pet Care During Medical Emergencies The Topic For Next Month’s Yappy Hour

BULLHEAD CITY–Bullhead City Fire EMT Kim Miles will speak on how to secure your pets when emergency personnel arrive at your home during next month’s Saving Animals In Need Together (S.A.I.N.T.) Yappy Hour.

The get-together will be held on Thursday, January 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Black Mountain Bistro, 1595 Mohave Drive, formerly Lisa’s Bistro.

Yappy Hour is a social mixer with raffle drawings, a 50/50 drawing and many retail items available for sale. Proceeds from Yappy Hour benefit various S.A.I.N.T programs including the low cost spay and neuter program and the Saving Lives Adoption Program.

The event is free to the public, although delicious food and drink specials will be available for purchase.

 S.A.I.N.T. is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2009 to serve the Tri-State area of Bullhead City; Laughlin, Nevada and Needles, California. S.A.I.N.T.’s mission is to improve the lives of animals through programs such as their Luv Your Pet Low Cost Spay and Neuter Voucher Progam and the Saving Lives Pet Adoption Program, which helps to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted pets through loving volunteers and foster homes.

Their goal is to serve as a resource to help keep unwanted pets out of shelters and to help limit local overpopulation through community programs and education.
