Petitions Submitted for Recall of Jamie Scott Stehly

On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Kingman Conservatives PAC treasurer Steven Robinson presented petitions in reference to the above application 2020REC006 taken out on October 19, 2020, for the recall of Councilmember Jamie Scott Stehly. The petitions presented contained 80 petitions sheets with 992 unverified signatures.

Annie Meredith, City Clerk of Kingman is returning the petitions  as Steven Robinson failed to provide the minimum number of signatures required (1,438) as prescribed in Arizona Revised Statutes $ 19201(A) in order to recall an elected councilmember. (See also Ariz. Const. Art. VIII, pt. 1, § 1; Johnson v. Maehling, 123 Ariz. 15 (1979))

Additionally, as mentioned, there were 35 petition sheets mixed in that were for a recall naming Mayor Jennee Miles (2020REC0005) and those are being returned as they are not eligible to be used in your current filing for 2020REC0006
