Police Investigating Alleged Threat At KAHS

KINGMAN—Law enforcement are investigating an alleged threat made towards Kingman Academy High School, according to Executive Director Susan Chan.

Chan wrote on the school’s Facebook page late Tuesday night regarding the incident and to notify parents there would be additional police presence on campus Wednesday.

The threat is to have generated by an alleged rumor between high school students warning others “not to attend school tomorrow due to a possible shooting.”

Chan said the incident was immediately reported to the school via an email and subsequently turned over to the Kingman Police Department.

”They are currently investigating the threat,” wrote Chan.
