Multiple reporting parties advised they heard large amounts of gunfire in the area and could see subjects walking through the area with flashlights.
As deputies approached the area, a black SUV was observed leaving the area. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with Harrington, the driver, and Hoggins, the passenger.

A records check of both subjects revealed that both were prohibited possessors due to prior felony convictions. Upon initial inspection of the vehicle, deputies observed a black rifle case and paper targets that had been shot at in plain view inside of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 2 AR-15s, a .22 rifle, a 9mm handgun, a .380 handgun, assorted ammo, gloves, and ear protection. When asked, both men denied ownership of the weapons. This investigation is ongoing.
