Quick action keeps blaze from spreading
Bullhead City AZ – Early this morning (September 10) at approximately 2:20 a.m., our crews were dispatched to a reported vehicle/structure fire on the 1600 block of Shamrock Rd. Engine 711 arrived first on the scene, reporting two vehicles under a carport on fire with a mobile home as a nearby exposure. After confirming that all of the occupants had safely evacuated the home, Ladder 721’s crew jumped into action, quickly pulling the deck gun and an attack line on the vehicles. Due to a quick response and action, the blaze was knocked down in minutes, keeping it from entering the home, minimizing the damage.
Fire investigators were called to the scene as the crews finished the overhaul process. There were no injuries reported during this incident, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
